Susie has collaborated on handmade books and over a dozen Story Quilts with textile artist, Peg Gignoux. Using the collaborative group story Susie composes as a point of departure, Peg leads groups in a series of hands-on surface design explorations. Participants begin by creating hand-dyed fabrics that become the basis for illustrating the story’s setting, characters and supporting elements. Cost depends on the scope of the project.
Two residencies + materials + studio time = a fee of $15,000- $20,000.
