Books students opened during a Writing Residency.
How do you get children beyond their typical book description: “It was a good book?” The answer comes in a dynamic collaborative review writing process. Students begin by studying reviews written by other children then apply what they’ve learned to brand new children’s books. The activities are fun and they reflect the Common Core State Standards for Reading and Opinion Writing.
One to two week residencies range from $2,000 – $6,000, depending on time and expenses.
