Untangling: Ten More Minutes (Chapter 59)

I had a hard time transitioning from life as usual to understanding that there was precious little time left with my mother. Rob, whose father had died recently, told me he’d wished for ten more minutes. With his help, I began to see that spending time with my mother was much more important than teaching my class. Curiously, the class I was teaching was a Mother-Daughter journal class which made me miss my daughter who was far away in Vietnam and my mother who was beginning to feel even farther away.
