The book starts at 10, a cut-out square revealing the number 10 and child-participation turns an easy-to-handle sturdy flap that reveals 10 adorable sea otters. The pattern continues, each square yielding a number and sometimes a clue to what one might discover when the flap turns to reveal an endangered or threatened animal.
