SCRITCH! SCRATCH! AN ITCHY, WITCHY HALLOWEEN TALE written by Teri Sloat and illustrated by Zuzanna Cupova

Teri Sloat’s SCRITCH! SCRATCH! AN ITCHY, WITCHY HALLOWEEN TALE is the perfect spooky read-aloud for brave young children who are ready for the thrill and chills of scariness. Rhythm and rhymes are perfectly balances for a just-right Halloween story which begins: “Scritch! Scratch! What was that?/The Witch! She’s in the pumpkin patch.” Zuzanna Cupova’s dark illustrations accent bone-like bare trees, mysterious shadows that might well be the imagined witch. The perfect lyricism both propel and gentle readers through until they receive a treat of an ending. Find out more in the Purchase link below.
