Extraordinary Outings: A Pairing of Writing and Adventures (IN Person)

Course Description

Are you looking for a way to face a transition, celebrate a big birthday, recover from pandemic or social media overwhelm?  If you’re looking for ways to find new meaning, fun, connection in your life and can’t afford a year abroad to find yourself, consider footles!  Footle is an archaic word that means to act in a foolish or silly manner…in other words, messing around. Footles can remind you how to play, reconnect with friends, learn about communities and activities you never knew existed, and uncover life lessons.  This class merges exploits in the world with inner journeys that come from reflective writing.

  • WHO: ALL ADVENTURERS AND WRITERS
