This was the big favorite on a recent visit with my big feelings granddaughter. In DON’T BLOW YOUR TOP by Ame Dyckman is masterful in simplicity of stating a build up of feelings, their potent results, needed reassurance, an ironic twist and satisfying character growth. Abhi Alwar’s illustrations convey the intensity of moods with dayglo vibrancy.
