A woman and man standing in front of a building.

THE BLOOD YEARS written by Elana K. Arnold

Elana K. Arnold’s THE BLOOD YEARS has a different setting than any WWII novel I’ve ever read as well as one of the more intriguing premises. The setting is a Jewish home in a small Romanian town and a family beset with conflicts resulting most probably from the father’s desertion which has fragmented their life. When Russians and Nazis invade, these imposed insurmountable struggles strengthen the family’s power of love. Audio is powerfully read by Carlotta Brentan.
