TOP STORY is the fifth book in Mia Tang’s series that began with FRONT DESK. This book finds Mia in Chinatown where she’s won a scholarship for journalism camp at the Tribune. Her scholarship brings clarity to the ugliness of privilege and prejudice that surrounds her. The unfairness that has been a theme in all books seems extraordinarily painful in this story until Mia creatively, powerfully, actively finds her advantage.
