Untangling: No Extreme Measures (Chapter 58)

Once I signed the papers acknowledging that my mother’s situation could not be improved, we entered a world I didn’t know existed, a hospital floor for those who were dying, where no extreme measures would be taken. The staff was incredibly kind and respectful and worked hard to keep my mother as comfortable as possible.
